1. What is Club MiniMAX?
Club MiniMAX is and organization started by parents and junior drivers to
promote the Rotax MiniMAX class. Its main objective is safety in karting, and
has been the premier supporter of chest protectors for all junior drivers. This
is evident in the clubs commitment to provide chest protectors for each and
every driver in the class.
2. Does the club want my money?
Club MiniMAX is an externally funded not-for-profit organization operating out
of South Florida. Although we depend on donations to help fund our safety
initiatives and other club benefits, your annual membership of $500.00 will
provide you with all of the benefits Club MiniMAX has to offer.
3. Other than safety, what does the club do?
The offers prizes and incentives to the junior drivers to make karting more fun.
The club gives prizes away at races aimed at the target age group, kids. Not
only do we award excellence with our trophy presentation, the club also
promotes improvement.
4. What benefits do I have from joining?
If you run a MiniMAX or Junior kart, you’ll definitely want to join. As stated above,
safety is our number one concern. We’ll keep you updated on the new safety
equipment and regulations as we get them. We also like to make the karting
experience as simple as possible for new drivers and mechanics. You’ll find
secrets here that most people wouldn’t give away at the track. We’re here to
see you succeed. Plus we do all kinds of fun events and look forward to getting
the MiniMAX class into the Rotax World Finals. For starters, membership includes
your RMAX License fee along with a subscription to National
Kart News (NKN).
5. Sounds great! How do I get started?
All you need to do is click the “Join Club” button on the left to get started.
Fill out the application, sign the Driver and Parent/Mechanic(s) Code of
Conduct and send your check for $500.00. Wait for your confirmation that you’re
in the club.
6. How do I get NEWS-INFORMATION?
Go to www.clubminimax.com for up to date NEWS,
INFORMATION, RACES, TECH, FORUM. This is the official
place to go for all Club MiniMAX-Junior announcements.
7. Now that I'm a member, what should I do?
Contribute! GET INVOLVED. This is a member-based community. Share your own
findings on safety and technical know-how. Whatever you've learned is sure to
help other people in the community.
